The Institute of Management Accountant (IMA®) Inland Empire Chapter has invited LMA Consulting Group president Lisa Anderson to present on “The Amazon Effect: How to Leverage for Business Success” for the April 21, 2016 Technical Meeting in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. Anderson, who is recognized as the 16th most influential person in supply chain management and sustainability by technology leader SAP in the “Top 46 Resource and Optimizations Influencers (Plus a Few Others),” is writing a book outlining her research on the Amazon Effect and the strategies businesses need to use to stay competitive and be successful.

“Amazon is changing the business landscape,” explains Anderson. “Unlimited variety is assumed, same-day service is the norm, and 24/7 accessibility with easy returns and exchanges is expected. Businesses must rise to the occasion if they wish to compete and survive—let alone thrive.”

Anderson will use proprietary research to substantiate the impact Amazon has had on everything from customer service to product offering, as the basis of her presentation. More importantly, she will cover what improvements businesses can make right now to stay relevant to customers and the strategies they need to enact to remain competitive. Anderson will show attendees how to find their “sweet spot” with the 5Ps of people, processes, plans, profit drivers and priorities to accelerate and create a customer service edge.

All members, non-members and students are encouraged to pre-register as at the door rates are higher. For information about Lisa Anderson, go to https://www.lma-consultinggroup.com/ or call 909.630.3943. The Amazon Effect, a soon-to-be-released book covering the research and detailed strategies to offset these new speed and offering challenges, will be available soon. Sign up here to be notified of its availability.
